Sunlight glints through the
branchs casting dancing lights
Ripe fruit hangs heavy on the
arms that holds them
Time has worn over the bark
that cloaks the firm trunk
A squirrel races along the
branchs, searching for nuts
Small noses poke from below
twitching in the morning air
Birdcalls bounce on leaves
echoing overlapping songs
Branches and roots reach out
to the sky above and ground below
Branches that reach to
the realm of the sky
Roots that dig deep to
the realm to underworld
Reaches out to the
realm of the dwarves
Reaches out to the
realm of the elves
We all live in
the Tree of Life
Solitude
Lonely
People surrounding me,
Or are they surrounding themselves?
Wrapped up in a blanket, rolling on the floor in my own cocoon
Protected from the world
Yet still

Feeling like the world is shaking
Breaking
Everywhere I go I see
more
I look from a different view
I can see
Seeing is dangerous, seeing brings you
There
Someone comes close, right next to me
I think, hello
She thinks, goodbye
Sinking..
Deeper...
Around my body I see walls
Are they the walls I have made in my everyday?
or
Walls meant to keep me in
I'm an animal in a cage, on display
I'm the snake the children squeal at
But not a happy squeal
